Not tried the putters or wedges so cant comment on them, I am happy with with my Odyssey anyway, I was talking about the Iron sets which are far superior than the mainstream manufacturers but you pay a kings ransom for the pleasure.

Very clever Tiger used todo the same thing with His irons. It said Nike on them but was made by Titleist I believe

Retief Goosen uses Miura Irons as does KJ Choi, a certain staffordshire player who beat Mr Woods a month a two back is known to use Miura although the logo on the club is somewhat different

Oh ok, really!! That surprises me slighlty, until Recently I didn't think much of Rock as a player (he used to get his caddy to line up his putts for him if I remember correctly) it's also bad form to mislead the public into thinking that you're playing different clubs to what you are

He has developed into a really solid all round player now. Yes he did used to have the caddie line up his putts, dont think he does anymore. Dont know if he actually has a sponsor at the moment but when he was playing Callaway and Titleist he was using Miura clubs. There is loads of them at it though, the South African players are known for it as well including a recent Masters winner. Just cost they have thesponsors tour bar and the headcovers on the Driver/Woods the equipment is somewhat different. Harrington is another example his bag is a right mish mash of brands even though he is a Wilson Staff player

Yeah as far as I know the only clubs that are WS in Padraig's bag are the FG Tour Irons and the Wedges. He uses TM woods and an Odyssey 2-Ball from memory although I could be wrong

Yep he uses Wilson irons or at least it looks like he does!! TM Driver and Woods as you say along with Odyssey Putter, thought he used Vokey wedges though but I might be mistaken

He may have changed his wedges after the grooves rule change because from what I understand his WS were so sharp you could've used them as Razor blades!! It's one thing to mix and match clubs but it's bad to deceive people by covering up the clubs with your sponsor's sticker

Yes it is a bit naughty I must admit, the problem is that the sponsors dont care as the public think look at Tiger he's playing Nike Irons I want a set of those when the reality is he isn't, what a lot of the Tour stars play are not what it appears, not all do this by the way but an awful lot do.

Alex the fitter is meant to be top drawer so happy to go with whatever the recommends. First time I have had what I would call a full iron fitting so really looking forward to it.

In a sense yes but the clubhead is the same, Titleist advertise him using the D2 and he is only with a custom shaft fitted which would be totally unsuitable for 99.9% of the public anyway due to it's weight and stiffness etc. So I see what you are saying but not in the same league as playing one brand and sticking a sponsors logo on it. Yes all the players Drivers/Woods will have special shafts in them which to be fair the shafts me and you use will be totally unsuitable for them.
