I think its scary times at man city at present. Does no one think they are going about things the wrong way? When the owners get bored or it all goes wrong, it is going to be a disaster. If i was a player i wud be staying clear of them.

Absolute madness imo they seem to be buying just for the sake of it with no structure,no manager can keep all those big egos happy. They are also selling two great players in Bellamy and Ireland.Talk about 500k a week in the papers today for a Swedish striker what a waste imo football has gone mad.

They will probably be the first to fold if the owners pull out as that amount of debt is unsustainable. I can't see why you have to keep buying when there is quality there already. Given and Hart have both said they'll go if they don't start. Add in thr masses of defenders and particularly strikers they seem to have and how can you play them all especially when you can only name 25 man squads

I get the feeling that this may be the year when a big club actually goes under (though more likely in the Championship than the Premiership). The Inland Revenue are getting more and more agressive and with the Government desperate for cash it can only be a matter of time before legislation is brought in to stop football creditors being paid before the tax man.
