Just got (paid for really) a trampoline for the grandchildren. Was round there today for the birthday party and they insisted that Grandpa should join them on it.

Never tried it before but what fun :whoo:

Probably regret it tomorrow though :(

Now, where did I put my zimmer frame?

Just make sure you don't 'dismount' by bouncing off it!

The ground is nowhere near as elastic as the 'tramp' - especially for old bodies!

Oi

Who are you calling a tramp?? :D

Full safety netting all round. Wouldn't have it any other way with the kids. Elfin Safety rules ....

I suppose it's a way to see what it like to be 6 foot tall Roger!

Nearer 12 ft Chris. Us athletes never lose the competitive edge you know. Had to ease off the gas as the two grandchildren were getting bounced all over the place.

Would have loved one of these in my youth when training for the Olympics.

HID sees a lot of trampoline related injuries at her clinic .. So trampolines are banned at our place.😡

Mrs Leftie "suggested" that at my age I should only bounce in a seated position especially with the Gainsborough trip this weekend :mmm:

Yeh. Right. With a 4 and a 5 year old bouncing with you, you've got to rise to the challenge. Haven't you??:D

Strangely, I felt right at home with it from the first moment I tried it. Definitely would have helped with my diving if it had been available but also would have helped with my first sports love, gymnastics. In 1961 I was one of Croydon's representative in the trials for the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo. Unfortunately, Croydon's best fell at the first vaulting horse.
