So said Fragger on the 18th green after a not-so-good day at the office....

CVG played really well until the 15th/16th but still managed 35 points in persistent rain from the 10th tee.
I played true to current form - some sublime play and just as much ridiculous play for 29 points. It was partly the putting today - nothing really dropped, I had a couple that were in 2 inches from the hole, swerved and finished 3 inches behind the hole but the driving is still shocking. I took 3/4 inch off the driver shaft over the weekend(Cheers Bob) - it might be showing signs but I'm still not convinced. Actually lost more shots with my 3 wood today. Blasted one perfectly up the 3rd, blasted one perfectly into the clag on the 4th and 13th.......

But Fragger never really got going.
20 points was a true reflection of his game today

Got drenched but hey - it's better than working.

Oh and Fraggers's not getting his 0.5 ESR back - Computer says No............

This game will do that to you - love it/hate it (sometimes in equal measure) but always ready to get out and love it again :-)

The ESR thing sounds very wrong!

Rain battering the windows here but just waiting for that glimmer of a dry spell before heading to the course.

Youre braver than us, was supposed to have a match this pm but despite one in the fourball with too much bravado sense prevailed and the match was put off for another day

It actually wasn't too bad for most of the way round. Dry until the 10th then steady rain but nothing horrific. Only really started bucketting down once we'd got in..

Fragger sloped off muttering something about having to go to Ikea............

We were due to tee off at 2pm, was torrential by then and water laying on a few of the greens :(

Show me the love to keep us together
Open up your hearts don't turn me away
Comfort me through this stormy weather
From where I stand,
I see a broken man

Fragger needed a bit of a reality check if we're honest, he's been playing far too well recently :winking smiley:

Happy Birthday Ian

sod playing golf today, was working in Berko and it was bloody awful. Although saying that I always seem to play well in the rain. shame it was dry Sunday with 21 points and 9 blobs it was a mixture of some solid golf and some absolute awful stuff so I feel Fraggers pain.

theres always the next round for him to show you how its done again Imurg ;)
