Still baffled you didn’t notice the length of shaft and complete lack of loft on the club face

I’ve hit a 6 before when I thought it was a 9, sent it 30 yards into the trees behind a green.

Woke up this morning with a pain in my right shoulder when I move it, not all the time and not consistent. Hope that I just slept on it funnily. Also probably shouldn’t have played but went anyway.

Disappointingly the club have taken the white tees off for the winter (didn’t do it last year) so was off the yellows. A tale of two halves as I was -1 on the front but +5 on the back with 2 stupid double bogeys and a penalty drop from the ditch that runs across 14 fairway.

Put in a GP score but the 76 for a 4.4 differential isn’t a counting score. Should have been better, driving was good, short game was good and putting was excellent. Just didn’t hit the irons/wedges good enough to give myself more chances.

My past 4 rounds have been 26, 20, 31 and 31 points. Considering taking a couple of weeks off because I feel like I'm playing , driver isn't working, iron strike is poor, no confidence with wedges and can't hole a putt. Everything else is fine though!

First time I've had to take relief from dangerous animal, fire ants, seemed like millions of the little nasties and we didn't spot them till they were crawling all over shoes etc and wearing shorts they very quickly get onto legs... and I doubled what, after tee shot, was looking like a straightforward par or bogey at worse

Funny old game this weekend. Saturday shot 91 for 26 points with lots of rubbish golf and no real feel of a swing. Went out yesterday and shot 76 with shots actually going where there were intended and putts rolling.

Three putted the last from 20 feet to shoot 4 over.....pissed me off as it was my 2nd three putt of the round, but overall had a great day out playing Vet's comp, cost 15 pounds, for a agme of golf coffee and snack on arrival and the hamburger and salad to finish.

Luckily enough to win three golf balls that I gave away to playing partner as I do not use that brand.

They have some very venomous snakes up that way, good decision.

In the winter, we occasionally get very small snakes on our greens. In the UK we refer to them as worms. They are not overly dangerous or aggressive though.

Had a python stand up at me once in Thailand, seen a few others with no problems there.

In OZ playing outside the Cities, then you just need to be aware that they are present, mostly in the warmer months, if you leave them alone they will leave you alone.

Most snake bites occur because you have stepped on one.

Seen a few rattle snakes in Florida.
They are very scary.

Crappy weather today so took myself off to local indoor Trackman centre, £12 for 2hrs using the full set up warming up on the virtual range then played a round at TPC Scottsdale according the set up I shot 76 round there which is purely because it was set up to guarantee you a 2 putt anywhere on the green over 6 foot! So according to the computer I'm amazing at lag putting from 80ft

Then played the back 9 at Sawgrass will certainly go again when the weathers crap and I don't want to get cold on the range.

I know it’s an absolute bargain. They’re a registered PXG fitting centre and had sign up about the hero’s discount which makes sense when you consider the location. So I asked the question and was kindly told all serving and former personnel get bays at 50% off for up to 2 hours during off peak times. All I have to do is show my ID card each time I go

So as long as I always go before 330pm I get 2hrs for the price of 1, I guess it brings in custom and keeps them busy during quiet times, I’m certainly not complaining
