I just broke 80 and it feels wonderful...

Congrats. I remember when I first broke 80 in a yellow tee knockabout with my mates, I was so happy. Back when I took up the game, the lifetime goals for me were to get to an official single figure handicap, and to threaten as close as possible to a level par round (home course at that time was a Par 70 and not too long but very tight).
Eventually I had a lucky day and managed a 74 gross in an official club comp when playing off 12, and much later shot the lowest round I have ever - and will ever no doubt - score off the Medal whites: gross 71 playing off 8. Missed it by 1!
Keep going, even shaving one more off is a wonderful feeling that you'll never forget.
Well done!
