NO I HAVEN'T BOUGHT A SET OF PING IRONS !!!!!!!

I have bought a leccy trolley thats all.

I got some birthday money in May and bided my time til I came back from Turkey and because I didn't eat at the airport I could afford to buy a new Freeway II and Duluxe III cart bag so am now an old codger.

I did got one hell of a deal as I got the trolley for £360 in AG and the bag for £90 off my pro. Not bad when the trolley was priced at £429 and the bag was £110.

After slating people using them at Goswick last year, citing them as a main cause of slow play, etc. I can't believe the duplicity.

Matching bag too.

Tart.

white or black bag?

I have heard that the first ones were awful but talking to a few peeps (Mike Harris as well) I am sure they have solved the initial glitches now. A 2 year warranty helps as well.

Yes, and according to my pro, plenty of customers have been given new ones, hence why he was selling a van-load of re-cons. Enjoy it, if it goes wrong, get it fixed (under warranty) or get a new one.....I think it's called win/win.

White bag Murph. I didnt slate those a Goswick but I did get ripped into those who drag them over courses when the ground cant take it. I will be carrying in winter and if it is too wet.

I still think they should be banned from October to March because a golfer carrying has approx 8,000 footprints on a course but a trolley golfer has the same but added to the 18,000 yards of tyre tracks (based on 3 wheels covering 6,000 yards)

i got given a powerkaddy highway, i only use it when the weather is crap and i need my waterproof stuff in etc. I find when im looking for a ball id rather my sticks with me than having to go out, get a club, come back, wrong club, back to the back... yada yada yada...

sounds like you got a great deal Andy

Ref reliability I've got to say I have had a FWII since just before launch in early 2009 (so orginal version) in that time played 150 plus rounds with it and had no problems bar some minor display misting on one round where it hosed it down for the entire 4 hours we were out on the course TBH my skycaddie screen misted that day too which was a much biiger issue)

Also have two mates who have FWIIs (updated models with 'lift' edges on the lithuim battery) and they haven't had issues but appreciate there have been some reports on here from golfers not happy

You know it makes sense.

Next comes the brolley holder.....then the handle mitten.......and finally the seat!

After that it's buggy time!
