Just wondering how many people will be throwing a sickie tomorrow in order to catch the final day of the Ryder Cup.

Personally I'm gutted it wasn't completed today. I don't do sickies so will be at work as usual tomorrow morning, did consider throwing in a days holiday though, a bit short notice for work unfortunately.

So, how many forummers will be having the day off work/school or college tomorrow?

I will be doing no such thing as skiving that sums up all the things that are wrong with this country it is pathetic to think that people would consider doing such a thing....

That's probably because you've got a sore throat which means you've probably got tonsilitis. Best to stay at home for a few days - you don't want to spread Tonsilitis around... :)

"Throwing a sickie" is theft, a days pay for no work, I'm sure we've all thought about it but I suspect there are few who are low enough to do it.

I can't get away with it or I'd definitely be throwing a sickie. Guess I'll just have to have lots of loo breaks and check the scores on my mobile. The hospital TV in the canteen doesn't have Sky sports so no chance of any action in the lunhbreak either

Why not? Do you think shareholders give a toss about a work force?

Shareholders - that would be your pension fund you're talking about.

theft is theft whoever its from.

I don't have a work pension, are you always this self righteous?
