I cannot resist.

Cannot believe people are questioning any Tims that are taking great delight out of the shambles at Ibrox.

Our bitter rivals, the ones that pished themselves laughing when we nearly went belly up, the ones that said for every £5 we spent they would spend £10 etc etc etc etc?

I am loving it and don't feel the need to feel an ounce of remorse for loving the terrible state they are in at the moment. It has been brought on by themselves.

Long may it continue.

Agree with you. I had so much fun dishing it out back then, and now i must take it back. Not got a problem with it

I am neither a rangers fan or a Celtic fan but you seem help bent on causing trouble on this thread, please let us not forget what went on at the other end of the City, Jim Torbett and his mates the Kelly family now that is sick but somehow the club has moved on and got over the sordid affair and that was a lot more serious than what is going on right now at the other end of the city.Scottish football has been in a terrible state for years.

Oh dear, looks like we caught a live one here

tut tut.

And to be fair to Fergus he didn't shirk or hide the abuse. He outed it so he really is a true legend who not only saved Celtic but brought credibility back as well.

Stuart, im not going to deny I have a sly smirk everytime I read about whats going on and will always cast a wee worm as bait but I do genuinely feel sorry for a certain element of the Rangers support, as for the knuckle draggers.......well least said the better.

An extremely unusual, though laudable, attitude in relation to this topic!

And unfortunately an attitude that it seems is not held by many sevco supporters who seem to hate us diddy teams and us supporters for taking some (sorry - a lot of) glee from this mess. Even although Glasgow Rangers got themsleves in this mess - not the rest of us - and too many Sevconians are in complete denial of this or wilfully choose to ignore it whilst spitting tacks at the rest of us.

I think Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea supporters are quite prepared to harangue each other whenever it seems appropriate.

And there used to be more glee amongst competing supporters to Liverpool's woes. It seems only to be pity or irrelevance now!

But it seems to me that Football occupies distinctly different positions in English and Scottish society/culture. There are elements of both that I find obscene!

And indeed football occupies distinctly different positions in 'Old Firm' and rScottish football society/culture. There being elements of the former that the latter find obscene!

btw - congrats to Celtic for getting through to next round - 0-0 away against the current Swedish Champions is not a bad result at all.

Yesssssssss!!!!:whoo:

European fitbaw til December at least.Job done.

Unfortunately with nothing up top,too little in numbers and quality at the back soon especially if Wilson goes and no creativity I don't see it being in the Champions/Runners up/3rd and 4th place League.

And they actualy wonder why the English don't want anything to do with them, its all about the famine...just a monty python sketch, gets better as it grows older, keep playing the pipes,it makes little difference down south,we cant here you..underground,does that mean ...buried lol

Heard this being said last night. does this mean if you get beat next round, you fall into Europa group stage? I've forgoten how it all works, its been a while and all that :(.

With us being so far behind and you having a free run at SPL (no disrespect to all other clubs) there are signs that celtic may be returning to their bad of sitting on their hands and doing nothing when they are out in front.

Yes.spot on Stuart.

The club have a strategy of buy young and cheap, develop and sell at profit but for me we need some experience but they appear to be unwilling to spend what cash they have on what they see as poorer investments.

Good for the club on a financial model but not so great for the fans who demand.

I see there are huge rumours that Murray's,McColl and Blin's share's total just 4 more than my holding in the club.

Do you think there is really any truth in it?

In all honesty its now hard to decipher what is true and what is not coming from Ibrox these days. There seems to be cloak and daggers, smoke and mirrors at every turn. As I say I switched off over a year ago as it really is becoming a bore. Whatever will be will be and it may come out in the wash at some time.

Certainly a better soap than River City!!!

It does not really matter what their personal holdings are although every bit helps come the EGM. The EGM to get them on the board needs 50%+ 1 vote. It has been reported that all the institutional investors persuaded to invest by Malcolm Murray are backing the change although what % of the vote this is is not really known by us. Green once claimed to control 51% of the shares but some institutional investors brought by him are reported to be dismayed by the IPO cash burn/Share price (down 30p since it opened)/public board fights. At the end of the day they want to protect their investment.

All the fans that have bought shares votes will be crucial, but many still back green they see Paul Murray had his chance and blew it (although as said earlier D&P admin may have been a closed shop), McColl done nothing before and is a nationalist anyway (as if that matters ).

If McColl wins the vote it Green/Zeus will have lost control of the boardroom and the future will start to look brighter.
