I bought today.....

A used 56° vokey sm9 off eBay, £45.

I’ve been playing a 50°, 54° and 58° degree for a few years now. I fancy trying to go down to 2 wedges (50 and 56), see how I get on. I find that I rarely used the 54 and 58, and I think that’s down to being unable to choose which one to just get good with and use all the time, so when I do need to use them I don’t feel confident. So I’m hoping that by only having 1 higher lofted wedge means I use it more and get better with it.

I’ll keep the 58 in the bag just for certain bunkers.

Trial and error.

smithworks 60 degree lob wedge, the non conforming one, just to have some fun
This company, fairly local to me, used to use the same carrier as my work. I was surprised how many he sells, I could see them in the van, but then what do I know :ROFLMAO:. You are the first person I've come across that will actually use one. Please post a review at some point, I'm intrigued to hear if they really do perform as they say.

Called over to Sports Direct at lunchtime and picked up a packet of orange and green castle tees. Phoned the pro shop first to use some shop credit but he says he doesn't get the orange ones in as no one has asked for them in 3 years and most people either sky it or hook it when using them.

Only got the green ones as it was £4 for 1 or £6.50 for 2 as I'm usually scrounging around on the floor on par 3's looking for a broken tee.

Orange ones are ridiculously high to be fair. I tried them a long time ago and did indeed sky it a few times. I never sky one off a pink, they're perfect height.

I do use the green ones for all my other clubs too. I've never been a scrounger of broken tees. 😂

Some new gleaming white FJ traditions. Had to retire a pair of old icons that eventually had a mouth the toe had came away from the sole. Course is a swamp so these new ones might stay in the box for a while yet.

Two of these, to go along the back of the garage wall. Amazon, sixty five quid each.

My bags are there anyway, but I've shoe bags, golf balls and spare clubs here there and everywhere, so it'll neaten things up.

I'm flogging a couple of bags, so they'll hold 2 each.

Perfect in terms of fit too, hopefully.

I’ve seen these on Teemu and AliExpress and was thinking of replacing the 3 shelves I have in the garage with one of these. Let us know what it’s like when you have built it.

My wife buys allsorts from Temu, but the last item is a month overdue and she is about to issue a claim. At least with Amazon, returns are fairly easy.

I can't imagine they'll be the highest quality, but they serve a purpose - I will report back.

Paid for it saturday, according to tracking its with courier now. Hopefully, maybe only another couple days?

My mate use to play the orange ones but stopped when he concluded that they weren't high enough.

He has developed a unique swing, the purpose of which is to get the club on the inside and hitting the ball on the up. To aid this, he bought some ridiculously high tees online, a driver could easily go under the ball without touching it.

The swing is plug ugly and demands tremendous hand and eye co-ordination, which he has. When it works he does indeed hit long towering draws, when it doesn't, he doesn't😁

I looked at that, but need two and the side shelf just meant two wouldn't fit. The side of the one I ordered has 'sleeves' for spare clubs, which I reckon will be useless.

I posted on here last weekend that I'd bought a new Ping G430, well on Friday I was informed that Ping no longer supplied the shaft I had ordered for the G430, so I cancelled.

I've now just bought a nice, used Ping G440 max, head only. Not only that, but I also bought a Ping adapter. I have a nice shaft in the garage that will be getting some attention later this week.

Thats what's on the side of the one I bought too
Slots for clubs to stand in, as per pic.

No idea until it arrives, but it may even be possible not to attach that part, then you may have got 2, side by side...

If nothing else, it gets another couple of bags off the floor. My 2 plastic sheds in the garage, already contain 2 old bags each, well 1 is my sons clubs, the others just have spares, or naughty clubs in them

I was going through some old golf clothes I had in the loft, and found one of my favourite pairs of Ping trousers, now... somehow they shrank... so I looked online where I thought I bought them from to get another pair, but I can't find them. So maybe someone knows of the model of the trousers... all I can say is different from other trousers, they have a double pocket on the back with a magnetic closure on the lower pocket, and they have a stretchy waistband.

thanks in advance :)
These?

I meant my one isn't metal, but fabric sleeves - looks a bit naff 😁

In the UK last week I had the chance to pop into a golf clubs 4 cash, first visit. Could’ve stayed for ages looking at the older gear
Ended up with a mizuno shirt for 14.99, a dozen rb max balls and then went a bit mad and bought my wife new package set of macgregor ZT1’s, which are an upgrade on her starter set she’s now growing out of

Def wont be my last visit there
