I bought today.....

I always buy the base model.
The tech is great but it’s just something else to go wrong.

My CT 10 was noisy at first but it has quieted down
Interesting post.

I’ve been thinking about changing trolley. I’ve got a Motocaddy SE which is the basic model. My main issue with it is there is no display to tell the speed setting, and there is a bit of a delay when pressing the stop/go button, so you end up pressing it again, and find yourself pushing the trolley when you think it is active.

I have been toying with changing to M5 which has GPS and all sorts of features, but looking at second hand, lots of them have cracked screens, this seems to be a regular issue.

I’m now thinking I might be better just with an M1 which is pretty basic but at least displays the speed setting.

Couldn't resist the Peter Millar sale, despite my best efforts.

Long sleeved water resistant jobbie for half price, then 50% off.

I usually add to the basket to get the free shipping (spend over £100), but resisted and paid the £6.95.

I’ve got an M5 and had no issues at all with it.

Did u have any trouble getting the full hole view?

Does yours have the breaking system?

Mine did - flogged it before Christmas and bought a Stewart because they were discounted for Black Friday.

Chalk and cheese.

I genuinely didn't tend to use the GOS element, as my watch and rangefinder were far less fiddly.

Just bought a stiff shaft for buggerlugs as he's outswinging the regular shaft in his Paradym. If you buy through the app on golfclubs4cash and use the code app20 - there's a 20% discount available until midnight

How do you find the GPS compared to a watch in terms of ease of use, speed and accuracy?
I paid the Annual fee after getting first year free, found no issues with it, don’t know if paying for it makes it anymore accurate or gives more information.

Certainly just as quick as it’s constantly there in front of you.👍🏻

Is the app not free?

I've had the M1 Pro for 6 years, I've changed the switch in the start button (one too many hits with the handle of a wedge I suspect), just had to change the gearbox/axle as something fell apart inside it (maybe getting a wedge to the wheel every now and again doesn't help), battery still lasts 18, motor is a bit loud but I can't complain for how many miles it has done. Once I've changed the motor/battery it will be like Trigger's broom.

Not sure when that was introduced, but I certainly paid for it in the past.🤬

I have this years m1, great, stable and very quiet but there is still a delay when you push the button.

It didn’t happen on my old m3 and once used to it I can see it as an improvement as it doesn’t want to shoot off at 6 straight away
