Unfortunately I have to use my own hard earned to pay for my clubs, so a drop away from the rocks would be the only way I'd go.

That's hilarious! I would have taken a drop. How much of an advantage is he really getting by bunting it forward? Or was he close to the green?

For me, having topay for damage to clubs, it's a 'no brainer' - I'd take a drop.
But if Zach 'does the math' (no 's' for yanks!) and reckons that the odds are better than 50:50 that he will take 1 fewer total shots, then he should take that shot on!

Drop for me but then I don't have an iota of the skill these guys have and clearly he thought it was a risk worth taking. Made good telly if nothing else

Impossible to say without seeing the actual lie but I'd weigh up the risk/reward of taking the shot on against my chances of pulling it off. I'd definitely prefer to move it down the fairway if possible rather than taking a penalty drop.
