10/10... didnt watch any TV except for Doctor Who, but the food was great, the presents were perfect, the company was second to none and there were no arguments (yet)...Now I need a day on the couch with unlimited cups of tea and the last of the smoked salmon and cream cheese on crackers.......

Bob,

First Christmas with the family out here, and i'd have to rate it as follows:

Food: 9
Drink: 9
Presents: 10
Company: 10
Tele: Don't think it was on all day
Arguments: The one that the kids had was a good effort, and they made up nicely - we'll call it a 7.
Disasters: Nothing of any real note

Overall, very good i'd say.

Hope yours was a belter.

for us everything would be 10/10 except for the last 2.no arguements or anything like that.

i thought the tele was great watching all the xmas films with the wee man,and watching him open all his prezzies was brilliant.....he's at the perfect age now for it so it's great seeing the smile on his face.

A massive anticlimax as ever. Basically, I spent a fortune on hosting a day that took up a huge amount of time and effort for people that I am not really all that keen on.

As soon as I can afford it, I will be in the Alps for Christmas week with my wife and children every year.

I am not a fan of Christmas. Not at all.

my thoughts exactly, thanks snelly your post saved me from having to type it

Presents, food and company were great. A really nice relaxed Xmas with my wife until about 5.30. Then I had some more coughing fits that all ended up with me passing out. Off to a and e and been in bed since. Not going to go down as a classic Xmas.

Work got in the way a bit having to go in on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and today but with the next three days off time to get on the golf course!
Nevertheless food, drink and company were excellent with only two slight mishaps - young puppy ran full tilt into the conservatory door keeping her quiet for the rest of the day and all the mother in laws presents fell through the bottom of her carrier bag when she got up to go home! Laugh, me - of course not!

Have had a great one - all the immediate family have been over the last couple of days and have got through a staggering amount of drink............and a bit of food ;) :D Kids and wife have had a great time so that's all what matters to me. Got everything that I wanted pressie wise so cannot grumble at all.

I love Christmas. Generally a quiet time with David and Max with the 25th and today being spent with my lovely family. My brothers and sisters and nephews are absolute stars and today was great to have Christmas dinner number 2 cooked by my nephew and his g/f - first time they've cooked anything like it !

3 days without golf though so cleaned my clubs this morning and off to play tomorrow, and Thursday (my birthday) and in fact every day until 2012 and beyond :whoo:

Just me and the wife so 10/10. Perfect food, great company and no rows. Watched DVD's rather tha TV and I had a couple of festive cans of lager too! All in all a pretty good day but nowhere near as good as Aztecs. Well done matey
