I've got an older Philips HS8000 electric razor. My missus bought it years ago but it still works fine. It's the type that puts a dose of Nivea cream on while you shave.
Anyway, I was looking at getting replacement blades for it. Now I know it's an old razor but I looked on the Philips website and the RRP of replacement blades for it is £36. However, obviously these are in short supply as the cheapest I have seen these, anywhere, is £82! And some prices in excess of £100! I can buy a new razor for that.
Truth be told I do like the razor and the Nivea cream does give a nice smooth shave but I'm buggered if I'm paying that much so it looks like I will have to bin a perfectly good electric shaver because of the ridiculous price of replacement blades.
Rant over.
