Snuck to the practice putting / chipping green 3 times Sunday - once when i was sent to drop off some rubbish at the tip (you know how busy it is on a Sunday dear).

Tonight was pitching at between 9.30 - 10 and could barely see the ball

Have had two 1/2 hour lessons in the last 7 days

Trust me am no CAT 1 player but someone who (sometimes) shot late 90's ish and has now gone back to the drawing board with the Pro to try and get a lot better and is currently going through the stage where you go two steps backwards.... :( :(

Practice has to have a purpose other wise like Jason says it's a waste of time. Look at the areas you need to imporve on and set your self reachable targets.

I've often wondered the same question, there aren't many days when I don't hit a golf ball either out the back on the grass chipping or down the range on the way to work or comming back or playing a game. I sometimes think I will leave it alone for a week but it never happens. It's like a drug and I'm addicted. Anyone know of a rehabilitation center for golf addicts.

Practicing the CORRECT thing is key, plus make it fun as Jason states.

Just look at any range and you'll see guys there for ages with poor alignment especially but only working on smashing a driver
Place 2 clubs parrallell and work on tempo and you'll have better contact very quickly
