How much golf did you play in January?

Played 3 times in January total, already played twice this month although the course is soaking.

Managed to get out 8 or 9 times in January, sometimes only for 9 though.
Feb's a different matter - twice so far for full 18's and a couple of 9's...

Once in Jan, which was a total waste of time and effort.

Once in Feb , yesterday. Enjoyed it even it was blowing a hooley..

Especially the back to back birdies....

Did you play much golf in January?

Have you ever known weather like that before?

Played on New Years day and have played twice a week every week since - the most golf I've played in a long time - our course is absolutely fine.

To be honest where we are the weather has either been awful or pretty good (sometimes on the same day) - The courses at Monifieth generally dry out so it can be pouring in the morning and fine for play in the afternoon - I've seen a lot worse weather in the past.

...and no - we have never seen it so wet down here - ever ever ever. Sandy subsoil drains great until the water table is at ground level

None - last played 14th December 2013. And after a dry Sunday and Monday morning it is raining again

So are you saying your course has been closed all that time? or, its been closed only on a few occasions you would have been able to play?

I played 9 holes in a very wet underfoot course , the quality of which was.........crap!

Less than I actually thought, Played 6 times as I was in London for one weekend.

Just the 12 times courses were open just a tad muddy

Played a few times, when not raining. Course has been open, but if it is belting down I don't bother. Think I have played about 7 times this year, and all have been in the sunshine.:thup:

This Saturday was fantastic. Felt like spring, first qualifier of the year, and 35 points to hit the buffer zone. Three blobs did not help the cause, but 11 pars were not bad.

Up to Christmas it was fine - |I just wasn't able to play. And then the rains came - course hasn't been closed all of the time but we haven't had a full course for getting on for two months. And when it has been open it has been very very wet.
