I know the answer has been revealed, but surely anyway it depends on how clubs run their Club Championship, the standard of player at each club and consequently the quality of golfer entered into this event.
We don't have a single scratch golfer at our place, but plenty who are capable of shooting under par, often well under - I played with a mate when he shot 7 under. But our Club Champion is a 6 handicap golfer who, whilst capable of shooting under at our place, absolutely wouldn't at a course he didn't play regularly.
If I'd answered this yesterday I would have said less than 5 for that reason.
