How Many under par rounds

50 club champions playing from all over the country playing in our Commemoration Jug Trophy comp yesterday, 36 holes on the day, therefore 100 rounds being played, how many sub-par rounds would you expect.

BTW we are a shortish course par 70 off the whites, the greens were only 10 on the stimp, as we had them at 12 a year or two ago for this event and all the players were whinging that they couldn't putt on them.

Lovely weather and the greens were superb, played on them this morning, 10 on the stimp and beautifully smooth.

Gross, its a comp only for club champions and previous winners, its in honour of Sir Nick Faldo's 3 wins at the open (he was a WGCGC member)

Spot on, 2 rounds both 69 (Par 70) out of 100, plenty of the guys have played the event before but nobody was able to post a really good round, so the winner was -1. Conditions were perfect but the scoring was poor in comparison to previous years, usually -3 or -4 is a good score and maybe 10 sub-par rounds on the day, strangely not this year.

Not sure of the highest but a few in the 80's

No, we played it yesterday, there were two or three tricky pin positions that's all. The course is 100 years old, very narrow with small greens, its not overly long and people tend to dismiss it as an easy short course, it isn't, I was however somewhat surprised at two sub-par rounds on the day.
