How many of the majors are shown on Freeview?

Have found out the last two days of the masters will be shown on the BBC.

But not finding much for the other ones?

Have they been shown on the BBC previous years even if it is the last few days?

Nope...
It's Sky only apart from Masters weekend...apart from highlights

They used to be shown on the BBC because there were only 3 channels a long, long time ago. At that time they covered all the UK based golf events and the American majors.

The BBC gave up the Open just a couple of years or so ago but I believe they still show highlights in the evening.

Apart from two days of the Masters, the same amount as terrestrial TV. Like it or not Sky or viewing via NOW or similar is the only way. Whether that'll change going forward anytime soon is another question

It won't change anytime soon unless it goes to ppv streaming. That would be worse, in my view.
