How long a layoff from playing before your swing goes?

I tend to play better if I haven't played for a few weeks/couple of months.
Not being as mad keen as I once was, I find I get "overgolfed" quite easily and get bored with it all.
I enjoy the craic but half the time can't be bothered to think about the golf too much.
So the bad weather and no golf isn't really bothering me at all.
