How is your course looking?

Not bad at all for January. Greens a bit soft with all the rain, but good news is the ponds are all full of water again. :whistle:The one beside the 4th green had white horses on Sunday.:mmm:

I played today.
They are doing quite a bit of work re-modelling some of the bunkers, but the general course condition is superb, it's a bit soft in places, but it's not been churned up thanks to some great work by the staff keeping the worst bits roped off.

It's going to be in great nick in the Spring.

Managed 9 holes this afternoon before having to pick wee man up from nursery .
But have to say although it was my 1st game since mid November I felt the course is not in good condition as it resembles a lumber yard due to the many piles of logs stacked about the place (we had 51 down and a further15 to be taken down due to storms last week) but main problem was the greens which are so bumpy they moved just by walking over them. I don't think they should be in use as the green keepers can't roll them flat due to them being so soft and wet .

Pretty good here. Our greens are laid to USGA spec and we never use temps. They suffer a bit during the winter but that's the same everywhere - by spring they'll be fine.

The fairways are well drained anyway, so are standing up quite well.

Played a fair bit since Christmas, and it's been in great condition. They closed the course last Wednesday & Thursday due to the thawing of the ground, as this is when the most damage is done. An email was sent to all members on the Wednesday explaining why, and I'm more than happy with that if the course is in tip top nick for April onwards.

No idea not been there since the start of November, we have been on winters almost every day since.
:(

Not on any winter greens. On one tempoary tee at the 14th while the tee is relayed. The 14th is a little boggy in patches as it runs with the river next to it but there are two pumps on the go clearing the fairway. Much better condition than last year apparently. The greens are doing quite well but worms are a bit of a nuisance at the moment.

We're on all temp greens and tees. Was out yesterday and it was pretty wet in places. Overall it wasnt too bad considering up to last Saturday we've had rain every day since 20th November last year.

course is lovely. Still on real greens and tees as we have spare proper tee boxes for every hole. Only grumble is some people dont repair pitch marks and divots. Pitch marks i tend to repair but other peoples divots is generally impossible
