How do you like your golf shoes to be???

I got some cheap 'n cheerful Stuburts when I returned to the game a few years back... Best golf shoes I've ever had for fit... More recently got some Dryjoys [wide fitting] which are also comfortable... Tried some Ecco's but they were too narrow fit for me... Like my shoes to fit from day one... Don't like taking chances that they'll wear in [eventually]... If your feet aren't comfortable 18holes of golf can be very miserable...

I have for me found golf shoes i do loke...its Minzuno shoes ,i now have two pairs, they are really comfortable,, they are smooth and following and one doesnt get tired feets ,they are also stable,, the downside for me with them, is that they dont give me a good grip...the softspikes doesnt give the grip i probably need,,,otherwise i really like them on and they also in my opnion looks good.

So what shoes do you recommend?

I like my golf shoes to look like golf shoes.

Not trainers. Not street shoes. Not casual shoes.

Golf shoes.

I'm not too fussed about brand, although I do have a liking for Footjoy.

So long as they are comfortable, waterproof and look like shoes, I'm not too fussed :D

Weren't "golf shoes" originally street shoes with spikes added?

I have some brown adipures, which are very comfortable and proving quite waterproof (but then they should be for the price)

I'm a little worried about the heal area lately but I will send them back if they go as I've only had them a year and maybe 15 rounds

I wear oakley ripcord spikeless in summer but I've up just had them replaced as they leaked (in the light dewy mornings of summer) so I have no doubt they'll do the same within a few months next time I start wearing them

Might try some wide fit foot joys if the 12 manages to fit, for some reason footjoy only offer a size 13 if you have the custom ones which are a fortune

Reasonably limited choice for me in a 13 adidas, some pumas and oakley seem to be the only options
