How do you like your golf shoes to be???

I have the XPS-1 courtesy of GM. They are good shoes but heavy compared to some of the others. The sole is a bugger to clean if you're into cleaning your shoes. The only downside is the sole on my first pair cracked across the bottom and the replacement pair has just started going the same way. I don't know if they have changed the design since they first launched them but if they haven't, I'd worry about buying another pair.

The cracking is enough to put me off Pal... I'm not sure whats happening with FJ's quality... I had 3 pairs and they all leaked...

Got a pair yes. I only wear them in the Summer when it is nice and dry. Very comfy and stylish but do not know about how hard wearing they are though. Shop around as they very expensive for what they are

Thanks for that

If they are anything like the trainers they will be hardwearing thats for sure, I usually only buy 4 pairs of Boss trainers a year and only bought 1 pair this summer which after a whole summers use, are still like new!

You get what you pay for.

Im thinking they could be a lovely christmas present to myself!

They are mental prices for shoes ! Madness to spend that much money

No problem. I got mine from Trendygolf.com

I guess that the average price for golf shoes in Sweden , like ECCO, FJ ,,etc is between 75-125 pound.....

That's about right for the uk as well - well the better shoes that is

You can get cheaper models

Eccos are my shoes of choice.

But I've 'restored' (as in live with the wear faults of) some FJ Icons and Classics that (idiotic imo) mates have deigned too severe to tolerate.

FJ Dry Classics are probably the best in premium - and I've had Ecco World Class. Ecco Goretex are simply the best waterproof - closely followed by FJ AQLs.

I can (sort of) understand Homer's collecting fetish, but that doesn't stop me considering it 'nuts' - in the nicest possible way!

image.jpgI've had FJ Classics, which were very heavy but a quality shoe, I've got the Ecco World Classic similar to the Classics, I would like to try these next. Ferrari........ Might make me play quicker vroom vroom.

16 pairs !!! Why would you have 16 pairs of golf shoes !
