Hi All,

The plastic collar at the top of the hosel on my irons have moved upwards slightly on all my irons. They are not loose however and the clubs still play like new. Any ideas how to push the collars down flush to the hosel again? They are still very tight and i dont want to scratch the shaft or damage the plastic.

Cheers...

dont use superglue, just use younger hands, twist while pushing down. As long as the heads are still solid it just needs pushed down, ask the pro if you cant manage it as its basic stuff to him.

Thanks for that DV.

I noticed the ferrule on my 3 iron was a little loose. I'll give that a bash when I get in

Pour a bit of hot water on the ferrule it heats it up perfectly but not too hot just incase it breaks down the epoxy holding the head on to the shaft then it slides down really easily

a bit of hot water is not going to break the epoxy that takes sustained heat. Put the kettle on and when it's boiling hold the club over it,after a wee bit the ferrule will be movable, a small dab of epoxy will stop this from happening again but remember to tidy up any spare epoxy with some white spirits.
