Last evening in La Manga. Great villa, great resort. I’ve eaten my weight in curry tonight.
I’ll take your word for it.Na the cruise is amazing. Imagine a cruise (which are already brill) but with Disney characters walking round for the kids and gaint water slides around the deck!
Full on west end Disney shows every night
Beautiful

If you’ve got kids make the most of it whilst they’re young.I’ll take your word for it.
Can’t believe I’ve never heard that one beforeIt’s like the old joke -
What’s the difference between a cruise and prison?
You can’t drown in prison.

I'm just back from staying at Castelldefels, just outside Barcelona, lovely Villas around here.Any suggestions on areas to stay in Barcelona? Looking to book for 29 December for 4 nights.
Taller de Tapas is a belter, in a lovely square on a great street. You have to get the right one, it's on Carrer de l'Argenteria, 51, Ciutat Vella, 08002 Barcelona . I've stayed on this street before, it's an excellent location.Check out this tapas place in Barca, think it is in gothic quarter.

Yes there's lots do. Plenty at work love them. I know it's just not for me.My parents swear by a cruise. They go for 2 weeks. Explore many European cities in that time whilst having amazing food supplies on board. Like a floating 5 star hotel

There is another one, same name, on Las Ramblas. I don't go near Las Ramblas, especially at night.
Las Ramblas has a poor reputation for pick pockets and some dodgy people hanging around.Out of interest why do you avoid LR at night?
Also looked at Valencia and Florence, not sure which of the three will be better over new years.
It gets lairy, drunks, pickpockets. Have a look in the day, the food market is well worth a wander, but at night, it is not for me. There are better parts of Barcelona at that time, imoOut of interest why do you avoid LR at night?

Florence is a wonderful city but I have not been there in winter so I can not say what it is like then.Cheers fella’s, any feedback on the others?
Did a day in Florence when we did a Med cruise last year. Was summer time and was rammed with tourists, streets are very narrow so may be similar at new year. Also, not sure if there will be enough to do for 4 days. That said, it is a beautiful place and well worth a visit.Cheers fella’s, any feedback on the others?
