• We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!

Holidays 2025

7 days golfing in Turkey in May

11 days in Scotland in July....first 6 days I will be golfing, then my wife is going to travel up and join me for a bit of touring about.

2 or 3 days currently being planned for early/mid August in Bamberg, Germany (the some of smoked beer)

14 days in Mauritius in September

Then maybe a long weekend closer to Christmas, somewhere in Europe, taking in Christmas festivities/markets.

That time of year when we can almost see the light at the end of the long winter tunnel.

Where we all off to this summer?

Cyprus for us, a week in a villa, an 8 year old and a 4 year old who can't keep it down so it's the best option.

Disneyland Paris for a little 5 night jolly whilst taking in some of France on the way in may

Then august taking the kids of the Disney cruise for 5 nights to Spain and back

Get all the Disney out of the way in 1 year lol ๐Ÿคฃ

Forgot we're doing DLP in October too, went a couple of years back and scared the boy half to death on The Tower of Terror and he wants another crack at it.

Next week, three weeks in Florida with two-day excursions to Vegas and Toronto. Four NHL games, spring training baseball, work with the Tampa Bay Bucs and two days covering the Valspar PGA tour event for Florida radio/TV. Every other daylight moment - Clearwater Beach.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I'd go to Vegas every year if I could get away with it.

Lol ๐Ÿ˜‚ the girls (4 4 and 7) will very much be just taking in the park I reckon. My sister wants to do all the rides.. luckily my wife hates rides so she will watch the kids whilst us big kids explore

Week in Paris before Easter then a week in Mumbles in July (doing an organised walk around the Gower Peninsula). We can't book a 'big' foreign holiday yet as the Mrs is hoping to be a kidney donor for our niece and not sure when/if this will happen but hopefully sometime this year.
Are you doing the whole of the southern coast all the way to Rhossili or just selected bits?
I really like the less visited smaller bays/coves like Pwll Du and Mewslade.

I am only going to work on a TV/radio show that I normally appear on from here in the UK - a chance to meet my co-host in person along with a few former NFL and NBA players.

Golf trip to Belek next month. Amsterdam city break at Easter. Family holiday Kemer (Turkey) in May, daughter and her partner joining us for that. Corfu for a week in August, then a week in the Lakes. Plenty to look forward to there.

We are 'just' doing the 25km loop on this one:

Only done a quick trip to 3 cliffs bay(?) before so don't really know the area.
Ah, I see.
I thought, "organised walk" was a sightseeing stroll, not a route march!
Thanks for the link.
What a great place to do 25km !
We have an "arty" picture of Rhossili Bay on our livingroom wall.

Hope you will be able to do some more touristy things on the other days while you are there.

Walk is at beginning of week, so will do the touristy bit after - legs permitting! :ROFLMAO:
