Hole in One Virgins

Ecxuse the title of the thread but - I've been playing this game, man and boy, for around 38 years. Played the last twenty years with a handicap no higher than 6 and have never made a hole in one - in competiton or practice. Please let me know that I'm not alone.......

I've never even holed out with anything more than a chip on any hole!

Couple of months ago was playing in a three ball - two of us hit onto the green. Couldn't see them finish but one looked long & mine looked short. Couldn't find mine so after a bit I took a peek in the hole. There's a ball in there! Then, to his surprise, Roy says the long one ain't his, just as I see the one in the hole ain't mine. That's the nearest I've got. At least I got a drink out of him...

Sorry Dixie but you've got a few years left yet. It took me all of 42 yrs to get hole in one, and most of the last 25yrs I've been no higher than 5.

Not me either. Been close hit the stick afew times but they never dropped in about 2" away the closest. Which in a way makes it harder to take. Oh thats in 45yrs on and off.

I'm still a virgin thought I had one last year I slam dunked one straight in the hole but the little fecker came out to 6" away that's life

Had a H-I-1 but there was nobody else on the course to verify it so not really had one officially...

Same as Imurg, got one during solo practice round, not official or witnessed so no for me also.

i wouldnt care if no one was there. it still counts. you would like to be in a four ball but they all count. you would only be lying to yourself if it never happened!

still waiting here myself. holed out for eagle last summer from 120 yards so should be getting closer. have the usuall near misses, flags hit and left 1 inch short so ill just continue the search.
