Hogmanay

About 12 of us going to a Lebanese restaurant where it's set menu, some live entertainment and bring your own booze as they don't have an alcohol license (works out cheaper for us though of course). Should be interesting, in previous years we've always tried to go out to a club or bar but we've agreed that we're past all that nowadays.

Absolutely nothing planned, Mrs has work tomorrow from 730am so tonight will be a nice home cooked meal, watch a film of some description of her choosing which will most likely be something like Christopher Robin which i'm happy with watch the clock tick to midnight and stroll up to bed ready to get up and go and play golf tomorrow and Wednesday.

All change.
Mrs Imurg is poorly, has been since Xmas Eve, so isn't working today but might go in tomorrow.
Still playing with Fragger at 11.30 but now planning a roast this evening and we'll probably crash out by 11..

Champagne is in the fridge. Going to the range late morning, whilst HID is at Keep Fit, then let the party begin.

though we won;t be going out or partying in way way I do enjoy watching the BBC Alba Hogmany programme (Cèilidh na Bliadhn' Ùire) and listening to a nice bit of gaelic being spoken and some decent dance tunes being played.
Good idea, BBC Scotland Hogmany is like being teleported back to 1964. Will give Alba a chance.
Usual quiet night for us..... G'Kids have just left......the soon to be teenager has gone from a tiddler to a big yin in the space of 12 months, shoe size 3 to 6. Eats non stop and moved to CB by his fitba coach.

it would have been work but got the dreaded man flu so wont even bother or attempt to stay up to see it in ,im sure the fireworks will let me know when its midnight.

happy new year all , may all you wish for come to you.

Had a few beers at the club so definitely on a go-slow when I go out later. Can't say I'm fully up for it and decided golf is off tomorrow in favour of a nice lie-in. Enjoy tonight, whatever you do
