Do you carry a hip flask in the bag? I do, I love a nip on the 9th, It sets me up for the back end nicely. Mine usually has a drop of Glen Moray in it Do you have one and what are the contents? If not, why not?

Oh my, my wifes grandmother makes the most wonderful sloe gin, I think I will ask her for a golfing bottle for the winter.

Don't like drinking on the GC if I'm being perfectly honest however I am partial to a wee nip.

Our Seniors have always had the tradition that you must carry a birdie flask just in case you have the good fortune to have a birdie. Being a generous Scot, I carry 4 hip flasks, 2 large ones, one with a good malt and one with a good brandy and 2 smaller ones, one with rum and the special flask for special birdies or eagles. This contains a top quality barrell strength bourbon and is seldom called into action.
Before anyone points a finger about drinking and driving, we don't throw back great gulps, just refined sips. Besides we don't score that many birdies and it is nice to have a choice.

In the winter it's a flask of homemade sloe gin. On captains change over day it's more a bottle than a flask and everyone on the team partakes. In fact our team was pretty pissed by the time we got in last year and came 4th but had a great afternoons golf. Roll on October and some dry fairway:whistle:
