Hillside Gof Club - greedy or otherwise!

Really fancy that pal, will have to do a bit of grovelling first though :D

Not sure you'll have enough shots to carry me along, way you're going - great shooting at the weekend

Stu, easy one for me mate tbh, I'm on days off.
If we can get a 4 again like at S&A, that'd be great.

That's great mate, pm you now.

Sounds like a winner to me

Hillside might need some blagging though :D

I've just checked their website. Their spring price (March) is £85 on a Sunday, £80 weekday. I think if we got numbers of 20+, we may get a Monday price of £65 or better.

Sunday at Formby for £55, Monday on Hillside for £65 = £120.

Put the Birchy silver tongue to good use. However, if we did get a good price, it would be nice if someone stepped in to organise it. We've had me, you, junior. Bluewolf and qwerty are beavering away as we speak.

Scouser, StuC's or someone elses party methinks. At least it would be a good buffet.:whoo:

I will send them an email tomorrow to see if they fancy a deal :D

I just hope Formby are doing that deal again

Sound mate, Formby have for the last 2 years, so hopefully.

Send Hillside the links for the Formby and the Royal Liverpool threads, I'd like to think it may help. But then again.........:)

I will copy you in the email when i send it to them and we can see what they come back with. I was thinking possible dates of Sunday 30th March 2014 Formby & Monday 31st March Hillside.

Shall we organise this as a proper 2 dayer this time so we can have the dunhill links pairs idea we had for last time? It was a great idea that but just got awkward because the 2 days were thrown together rather than organised as a whole.

Just an idea Scott but it might be worth asking Hillside in the email (or maybe at a later date once we've got the price) if we could play off the blue or white tees, its just that its a totally different course of the yellows. I've played off them twice before, during the round you spend a lot of time looking behind at the blues and whites thinking what could of been. theyre much more elevated tees and obviously further back.
Some of the yellows are down with the reds and it can be a little dissapointing especially the 9th.

On most courses it wouldn't bother me, but on past experience Hillside off the yellows can be a bit of a letdown.

I was assuming we would be allowed off the blues but will confirm with them. I think best just trying to get the right price out of them first and then them agreeing to blue tees could be the deal clincher :D
