Here is what my golr grip is

my old grip,,,,,left hand grip layed on open hand from first finger across hand to middle of palm of hand ,when griped the V (meaning between first finger & thumb when griping club)facing right shoulder,,,,fight hand when griping club the v is in line with my right shoulder


new grip,,,,,left hand grip layed on open hand from first finger across hand to the back part palm of hand when griped the v on left hand & right hand are in line with the club


i must say it is a bit off putting not playing as good as i was ,,I'm a 17 hc with the old grip


with the new grip apparently i will get more control doing fades & hooks when i need them i will say my distance & accuracy is better when it go's good (about 1 in 10 shots at minute) on the range

i will keep updating my progress ,,but really am not liking it so fare :angry:

Pro's play with all sorts of different grips ranging from weak to very strong, but from your description your old grip sounds pretty neutral and your new grip sounds weak. I'm probably wrong though.

Bobmac has posted a picture on here before of a good grip. A search should find it.

You also describe having the club in a different part of your left hand. Is it your old or new grip that places the fleshy bit of your palm just below your thumb right on top of the grip?
