I need some help with changing the grip on my scotty cameron and I am quite clueless when it comes to the different putter grips.

I currently have a red corded grip, it looks like this one http://www.scottycameron.com/store/product.aspx?zpid=573, think its called the Baby T, but I am not 100% sure.

It feels really thin and small in my hands and I am struggling a little with keeping my hands quiet, especially on the longer putts, so ideally I would like something bigger, but not the massive style grip like KJ Choi has.

So thicker is the one part, the other part is the firmness of the grip. I prefer a slightly softer grip just to not make it feel like a crowbar in my hands. To give an idea, I think the new Ping Scottsdale TR range grips have the perfect thickness and have a better feel in terms of firmness, could be a fraction softer, but they are great.

Worse case scenario I am just going to have a Ping grip fitted, but I would prefer to get a scotty cameron one.

Can anyone tell me which scotty cameron grips to look at that would be thicker and perhaps softer?

Thanks

George

I hate scotty grips, always feel hard, thin and slippery to me.

Have a feel of the grip on the Ping Nome, sounds like what your after..........

don't just put a scotty grip on as its a scotty putter, put what you feel comfortable with.

That is not a Baby T, it is a Golf Pride corded grip. Very similar grip to the one on Ping Scottsdales, in fcat, although the Ping grips are thicker.

The Baby T is this one:

You can order certain Cameron grips (i.e. not the special edition of custom shop ones) from any Titleist dealer.

The Winn AVS midsize might be worth trying if you want bigger and softer:

Thanks guys, appreciate the help

Is that pistolero grip bigger? I have seen it on the web and it looks like it would be a bit softer, but no idea in terms of size how it compares?

The Scotty Pistolero is not a soft grip.

I have it on my Del Mar and, If I'm being honest, it's pretty firm.
