Sounds like a good course, I'll have a look.

I'd recommend Cleobury mortimer, not too far up the road. It consists of 3 9 hole loops so plenty to keep you interested, some challenging holes, plus the staff are great and again the views are amazing.

Swindon's also a decent club, lots of trees!
