Funnily enough I've been toying with the idea of changing my Callaway X16s which I had custom fitted about six years ago. One iron I tried was the Titleist AP2 which I quite liked. Thinking about this I dug out my old Titliest DTRs which I still had (I never throw anything away!) and had a shot on the range. What a surprise! I am hitting the ball crisper, and 15 yards further than I hit my X16s and the AP2s. I have now played two rounds with the old DTRs and I am hitting the ball better than I have ever done.
