About your driver..........
Why not clear a space for it in the garage and let it see the space..........you never know ;)

do you have tennis elbow or golfers elbow? Two different things with different treatments. I know this as my wife is a physio and has told me all about it in the past... not that i listened!

The wife had a tens machine for pain relief during pregnancy and thought it was very good. Not sure about the long term affects or potential to cure issues though.

It's not a tens machine, I've tried the gels and painkillers along with a proper tennis elbow strap but they're not working.
Went to the Doc's a couple of weeks ago and she recommended physio but I haven't heard anything back yet.
I don't want to have an injection.....

Ummm your right, it uses vibrations ..... you'll be better off getting physio. If your in East Sussex it can take up to eight weeks before you will get an appointment.

I assume your refering to cortisone injections? If so as it will be into the tendon it's not that bad, I've had three in my hip bursa and whilst unconfortable I wouldn't say they were painful.

leave the needle as a last resort.

Physio is the way.
I have a bloke that works for me has a strap, he's a raving hypocondriac (sp) He has had physio and this has improved things.

He just needs to stop w***ing now and he'll be cured ;)

I'm not scared of the needle. Dentists, yes. But a needle in the arm holds no fear for me. Honest.
It's just that I've been reading up about this gadget thing and it does seem to give results.

I know it's £69.95 but I'd give anything to stop this bloody annoying pain at the moment. I'm not enjoying my golf.
It comes with a 30 day money back guarantee so my thinking is that if it hasn't given any noticeable improvement before the Walton Heath game it can go back and I've lost nothing.

Smiffy i had bother with tennis elbow about ten years ago, went for 2 injections, then a months rest from doing any work or golf, never had bother since.

I've had tennis elbow for years, funnily enough mostly throug playing tennis and badminton. I've been up the range a lot lately and played 9 today, had to stop because of the elbow. The only cure for me is rest, a week off and I'm sure I'll be all right. I've had 3 injections over the years and to be honest I'm not convinced they work. Rest and Ibuprofen before you play normally works forme.

The thing is, this has been kicking around since August last year. Despite not playing much during the winter months it doesn't seem to be getting any better. As I say, I've tried Voltarol gel, Voltarol tablets, Ibuprofen tablets, and worn a tennis elbow strap, all without real success. I've played a couple of times where it hasn't really affected me during play and have scored well. But the next morning I go to pick up a cup of coffee (or tea) and it's back.
I went to the cupboard the other day and without thinking picked up a bag of sugar.....bloody hell!!!!

Talking to a Guy at the club today who's had surgery, he reckoned it cured it completly. Not sure whats involved but this seems quite extreme to me but maybe it's the answer.

Speak to your pro. He should be able to suggest a sports physio who will be able to help.
