I recently bought a pair of Adidas ATV Tour Shoes and have had problems with the hard plastic three stripe re-enforcing digging into the outside of my foot. This wasn't apparent when I tried the shoes on in the shop but on the course it is a probelm.

I love the look of the shoe, the soft leather on the front of the foot and the insole which makes them feel like a pair of slippers but the plastic re-enforcing on the sides does not give and is either very poor design or I have a faulty pair of shoes.

has anybody esle suffered the same problem?

Myself and therod I think.

I do not feel the stripes, these are by far the best fitting shoe I have ever worn! They feel VERY secure without feeling uncomfortable.

It could be a fault, not really sure as sometimes it comes down to foot width and mine are pretty slim.

yep I've got them. no problems what so ever. I'll probably get another pair in the near future as they are the comfy-ist most supportive shoe I've had

I have mates who have had big problems with the previous 360 tours around the heel area but I've nothing bad about the ATV's

I've had several pairs of tour 360's without any problems including the latest ATV's. Only thing I would say is that you need a 1/2 size bigger in Adidas compared to Footjoy for example, I am a 10 in Adidas ATV but 9.5 in my Footjoy sports. I may be you have got your normal shoe size which are probably slightly too small. Forgot to say that there is also a wide fit available.

I normally take a 7.5 but went for the 8 in an Adidas, I've had other pairs of Adidas without problems however this issue only seems to be the left foot as the right is fine. I've just checked my shoes side by side and the left hand shoe plastic panel sits 4mm further forward than the right and is much more pronounced within the shoe so I'll contact the retailer and ask for an exchange

Thanks,
Dave

quick update. i did like them. After 2 months the heels have worn through! comfy but that's poor !!:o:angry:

I love the adidas styling but never found any pair that really fitted me well. I know a few people that have had issues with them splitting. To be fair there a lots that have bought FJ's and had the same problems but I have never had an issue with my FJ's. I tend to be loyal to a brand until it lets me down so FJ's for me
