Handicap System ?

Would seem fair but my old club would never stump up prizes for 3 divisions. That would mean all of the moenypaid to enter the comp would go out in prize money and I cannot see the club/pro agreeing to that (never sure who got the money paid for a comp)

We have 3 divisions, cat1 and 2 are merged into Div 1 and Cats 3 & 4 become Div 2 & 3. I thought this was normal for most clubs

Surely every penny paid goes back out in prizes? Everywhere I've been a member, if the entry is through the pro, winnings go on account with the pro until you spend your credit.

This is what I thought and assumed until I actually won one. The prizes are set at £40 for first, £20 second and £10 Third with a lowest gross prize as well. All these are in pro shop credit. As it costs £2 to enter a comp and from looking at HDID there is normally 100 plus entrants, not all of the money is going in prizes.
