During the winter, a number of us have a regular team game where we go out in teams of three with the best 2 net Stableford scores per team going on the card.
The winning team normally scores around the 80 mark and it's a great fun way to keep the swing going until the season starts again in the Spring.
However, in addition to the teams of three, because we don't want to exclude anyone who wants a game, we usually have one or two teams of four and this poses a handicap predicament.
The system we use currently is pretty complicated and is based on what the team(s) of 4 scored the previous week. Needless to say, it's not universally popular!
So, assuming we use full handicaps, how can we best balance the advantage to the teams of 4?
All suggestions welcome!
