h/c double bogie question

I know for h/c adjustments you dont score more than double bogie,but if you have shots on any particular hole are these taken off as well?

ie if you had 2 shots on a parr 5 and scored a 9 would this come down to a 7? or would the 9 be counted as 2 shots over double bogie.

its net double bogey, so shots are taken into account yes

Once you have a handicap, it is all maintained on stableford points, so it is easy to work out.
