Me and the old man took an extra day off at Easter and had a game at Gullane no 2 on the Tuesday. We used the 241 voucher from the latest magazine and our round cost just £24 each.

The course was wonderfully quiet! Nobody in front, nobody behind.

No 2 is my favourite Gullane course, and its in wonderful condition just now. The tee boxes must be the flattest I have ever had the pleasure to tee off from, manicured to within an inch of their life!

The greens are amazing, they are all the same speed, and incredibly easy to read.

But best of all, there is no rough! It hasnt had a chance to grow yet, so neither of us lost a ball.

This all meant that our scoring was high, I came in with 38 points and was the happiest of bunnies ;)

Welld one Jaq, how many did Charlie amass?

not enough! ;)
today was more of a battle (at home course) i had 38 and he had 37 - he had a pile of 4 pointers!

I played no2 last month and the greens were amazing considering the Baltic weather we have had. Great value at 24 quid.
