I actually think he should be named so that the forum can explain to him what he did wrong and what he should do in the future if these circumstances occur again.

Slime.

Why do people not see other people so far as 150 yards away. Very poor form to hit at the green from this distance when it's quite obviously not clear.

Not good news. Are you saying you were playing a par 3 and someone teed off from behind or did the ball come from elsewhere. If they have hit to the green and you haven't holed out then name and shame

He did already!

Were your greens as good as they were on Thursday?Pish wet but still lovely and fast, beautiful to putt on.

Enjoyed the course immensely, tight as a gnats chuff and only criticism would be that the fact there are few Par 5's and 3's means that it gets a bit 'samey' .Would say tho that your 2 par 3's are strong holes and the clubhouse is as cheap as chips!

I don't actually see the point of this thread unless you name and shame the culprit

The forum member in question was teeing off on the par 4 preceeding the par 3 hole David was on. A sliced drive can head towards the green and you can't see the green clearly from the tee.

It was me. Before you all fall over yourselves, the 2 ahead were clear of the green and we couldn't see them, so assumed they had finished the hole. Neither myself or my playing partner knew they were still playing the hole. The next tee is behind bushes so we assumed they were on it.Only as i struck my ball did they re -appear. I apologised profusely, twice, i've been playing golf for a long time and have never done anything like that. It was simply a misunderstanding, they do happen sometimes.

cheers Bigslice
