I have never paid or contemplated paying £100 for a normal pullover

However, I remember coming home when I was about 15 (1967) after going into Croydon town centre and said to my mum that I saw a pair of shoes for £20!!! I told her that I will NEVER pay £20 for a pair of shoes in my lifetime.

The more time I spend outside the UK, the more I buy equal quality, or better, non-golf-branded clothing to play golf in at a fraction of the price. Polos, sweaters, soft shells, windproofs, hats.... got the lot all with no golf brand and all great for playing in.

PS, apart from the FANTASTIC branded sponsored stuff I get for free (Ahem) cough cough
