The grip on my G10 driver feels very greasy to me, I've tried the old remedies, washing with hot soap and water and a nail brush, even going over it with a bit of sand paper. It still fells the same. It's re grip time, anyone recommend a tacky feeling grip?

I'm with Bob on the dual compounds, tidy grip.

Short term measure on the course if the grips are slippy: either rub them with a damp towel and then go over them with a dry one, or a bit of moisture on your hands and rub grips vigorously:)eek:) and they will be better for that shot only.

You can get products specifically designed to rejuvenate old rubber.

The only one I remember the name of was Tyreslik made by Tetrosyl.
Car valeters use it on tyres. If you try it make sure you don't get the one that just puts a sheen on the sidewalls.

I've also used turps or white spirit with some degree of success.

£8 for a regrip, as opposed to £5 for Tyre Slik.
