Thinking of upgrading the stock shaft on my G25 Driver to the Grafalloy Prolaunch Red.

Looking for lower launch and penetrating flight for playing on the links.

Anyone use it? Thoughts?

Also thinking about the Diamana Whiteboard for a similar flight.

I had both for my 910. The white board feels unresponsive, and a bit dead. I still have it in my fairways though. I preffered the prolaunch red.

I hit either of them plenty high enough.

Neither shaft will work miracles though. They are both low launch, low spin, but if you chop down into the back of the ball, they will still balloon.

Cheers.

The stock G25 shaft is quite high launching. Still hit it well enough, but would go for something a little lower especially coming into the winter season.

PL Red is a well established good value lowish launch shaft but not silly low or stupid stiff. Whatever your swing I would like it will come off lower than the TFC in the G25.

Any other decent priced low launch, low spin shafts you would recommend Nathan?

I use the prolaunch red axis in my 5 wood and I love it, I have it in regular guise and I'd say its on the stiffer end of regular it gives a smashing flight

I'm considering sticking one in my driver too as I've always ballooned my driver with the stiock shaft

I had them in some previous woods (I think they were Ping G10's) and loved them. Nice low flight, really used to put it out there with them.....Jeez, can I buy them back????

I have one in a callaway XHP driver. It definitely feels pretty stiff but not in a bad way. It was the lowest launching, sensibly priced, shaft available but it can still be launched high enough if you want (or your swing forces it!!).
