GPS devices for men but NOT for women?

I think this thread is inappropriate.....as there is a likelyhood that the ladies would get frustrated trying to talk into it and send text messages, i hope you all see sense.

Your original post was better HNJ about eyelash brush etc ;)

I know but your already in trouble with the PC, I just didnt feel it was worth me getting into trouble again, Ive had a good day. ;)

Not sure which is sadder?

This whole thread
The fact that golfnut18 didn't know what marigolds are
Or KeefG finding a picture of them and posting it!
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I like to keep fellow forumites in the loop Imurg ;)

Thats a good point :D my missus just passed me and read that last one, now I have to explain for HOURS why a golfer is posting marigold gloves on here????

She has already asked if I am actually on a golf forum, so thanks lads  :D

Good Op

But what a load of sexist and sad replies regarding women and golf....maybe my last post!!!!

dandpl

If you want to hear really really sexist remarks, dress up as a woman and go out with them or hide at one of these all girl do's or lend an ear to them when they are gathered in the girls corner of the clubhouse bar ;)or listen to the drunken ones in a night club.

Blimey, this thread went downhill pretty fast.

I'd like to make it perfectly clear that I have absolutely no qualms against women playing golf - the more the merrier, and would not like to be associated with the derogatory comments made on the thread.

The original post was a simple one...
Is it right that men should be allowed to use their GPS devices in monthly medals and club competitions.. but not women?

I find this decision particularly ludicrous and can't fathom a reason for it. If you can shed some light on it that would be appreciated.

Does your club allow you to use your GPS in competitions?

...and I can't figure which part of that was the difficult piece to answer.

Somehow it got lost in the 'post!'.

To answer your question. I haven't got a clue. Seems ridiculous to me that men can and woman can't. Perhaps it's because women are more likely to ask for directions than men. Who will never ask anyone!

That should strighten the argument back in the ladies favour a bit. (ps that was TIC!!).

TBH I can't even find verification of this decision.

What's the betting that if I asked HID it'd be at the bottom of my sock draw along with all the other stuff I can never find, ( even tho' I've looked there half a dozen times already !! :o )

I apologise unreservedly for my "80 yard" comment.

Our lady captain has a pured G10 Driver, has a swing speed of 47mph and can bang out 92.

I bow my head in shame.

;)

(That was a "joke" too)

Did you see the post from Teegirl? She took exception to all women golfers being tarred with the same brush. So the content of this post has ofended at least one person......but its ok cos its banter.

I wasn't taking exception, and if I was I could say so myself!! I meant my comment to be quiet light hearted, as a newbie I will learn how to better express my views. Unfortunately I nodded off or I would have responded earlier. :D
