My Missus has the same figure she had when she was 18.

When I first started learning golf, we didnt even have 150 markers, never mind GPS. (We did have electricity though)
I dont agree with them full stop as I think judging distances is part of the game and dont get me started on caddys lining up their players.
I do, however accept that they are here to stay and that lots of players play better knowing their exact distances to the target. If they enjoy their golf more using them, then that can only be a good thing.
In answer to the post I would say if men can use them then of course ladies should be able to use them too. What a rediculous rule
On a slight tangent if I may, another crazy rule against lady golfers
An up and coming single figure h/cap star of her club in Essex has been banned from representing her club in team matches because she is only 15. She wont be allowed until she's 16

You are a genius and I think your analytical mind is wasted on this forum.
You are right - I am quite clear in my own mind that women are not equal in this sport. Not because they shouldn't be, but because there is always a minority of people in clubs up and down the country who feel superior to them when they have got a golf club in their hand.
I don't feel I need to support women in golf - they do a good enough job of that themselves. Believe it or not, there are women professional golfers who do fairly well financially, despite talking into their GPS thingies and applying their make up on the tee. How much money have you made out of the sport you say you love?
But what do I know? I am obviously in the minority here as so many of you have pointed out. I am off to join my sisters around the camp fire and burn my bra.

TBH I can't even find verification of this decision.
What's the betting that if I asked HID it'd be at the bottom of my sock draw along with all the other stuff I can never find, ( even tho' I've looked there half a dozen times already !!)

I'm assuming it's a decision taken BY women FOR women

Further to this thread, i played in a local pro-am last year and one of the Head twins was playing (think it was Joanne) and all the guys (includinng Ian Poulter's brother Danny) were stood behind her on the practice ground trying to out drive this slip of a girl without success (yes i tried too).
I'm sure any women looking in here would have enough of a sense of humour to handle the comments!
