Good music

So he does what he’s supposed to do then

Well yes, but in a generic, over produced way, why do you think he’s so popular, because he churns out easy music for the masses. Like Kellfire said, it’s music by numbers. Joanne Shaw Taylor is the same, hackneyed to death.
Mr popular today aren’t I 😂

Well at least you had the decency to explain your point of view, unlike the poster who slagged him off but is yet to offer an alternative. I don’t necessarily agree with it but that’s life, it would be boring if we all agreed. I won’t be putting my JB and JST tickets on eBay anytime soon... ;)

I imagine he’s pretty good live in fairness.

BBKing
Muddy Waters
Albert Collins
John Lee Hooker
Elmore James
T Bone Walker
Howling Wolf
Jimmy Hendrix
Rory Gallagher
Jonny Winters
Peter Green
Duane Allman

all far better than JB, even a couple of white guys for good measure. Bonnamassa is just a plastic rehash IMO,

sure he can play i'm say he can't be , others did it better;)

Probably a reason why he's in it every month...

So you've done the easy thing & slagged him off; now do the hard thing & tell us who's currently better than him...

BBKing (died 2015)
Muddy Waters (died 1983)
Albert Collins (died 1993)
John Lee Hooker (died 2001)
Elmore James (died 1963)
T Bone Walker (died 1975)
Howling Wolf (died 1976)
Jimmy Hendrix (died 1970)
Rory Gallagher (died 1995)
Jonny Winters (Johnny Winter died 2014)
Peter Green (blimey, a live one)
Duane Allman (died died 1971)

all far better than JB, even a couple of white guys for good measure. Bonnamassa is just a plastic rehash IMO,

sure he can play i'm say he can't be , others did it better;)

What part of currently is it you struggle with? Having slagged JB off and been challenged to say who's currently better, we get a list of dead legends and a live one with well documented mental health issues. Thanks for the "help" but I won't hold my breath waiting for tickets...

not sure what has currently got to do with it?. my reply was to someone else and you jumped on it to score points, why do i have to justify my opinion to you?

Maybe other artists don't feel there is value in sole less blues rips offs when its all been done before IMO, get over it
