Golfing/Sporting superstitions

Until recently I didn't have anything that could be called a pre-shot routine but one is building.

I may have also started a 'superstition'. I feel the need to find a suitable broken tee (must be long enough and preferably white) on the first hole on which I need one - even if I don't then use it and irrespective of any other broken tees in my pocket.

I NEVER use pink tee's as I feel this makes me play like a wumin.

Never use a ball with a number greater than 4 (use a Titleist No.8 and you shoot an 8)

I never walk through the front of a tee cos I am disrespecting the rough fairie and she will steal my ball.

NEVER, EVER shake hands with a guy who has nipped in for a pee on the 18th fairway.

My only superstition is to start a round with a brand new ball. Somehow do not feel right looking down at a older one on the first tee. Once I have lost that one (which I do not always do these days) I am happy to use anything but my first drive is the most intimidating shot on the course and I just feel wrong playing it with any old ball.
