Morning all,

looking for recommendations for trousers

I bought 2 pairs of IJP tour tech trousers on ebay last night.. these are my favorite trousers.. the fit and sizing is spot on for me I find.. managed to pick up 2 pairs for £56 (bargain)

however just delays my problem.. what trousers are like these?

40 inch waist and 30 inch leg on these and they fit like a dream.... adjustable on the sides for weight loss and gain (ha wont be loss)

wary of tapered trousers as I have overly big calfs

I have a couple of pairs of Ping trousers. Very happy with them and would buy again. The sizes are exactly what they say they are, no silly tight fit on the thighs or waist.

i have a few pairs of Dwyer & Co and some callaway trousers and they are a decent fit.

Second vote for Ping. No silly yooff cuts, proper trousers with a proper cut.
Well worth the money.

I like Footjoy trousers, slim fit leg, comfortable and good material. They are however, 29 leg not 30, which is perfect for me but might not be for other people.

Ping also do 29 leg I believe.

Yeah I agree, find Adidas the best for style, fit, comfort, and durability (without paying over the odds)

I have just bought a couple of pairs of Stromberg Winter trousers. Very pleased with them.

they are great winter trousers but you need to be careful with their summer range as they have a tapered leg and so they are no use to me as i have pretty big calf muscles like the OP

This is my problem, growing up before I was bigger never could have wellies because of the calves

All my family got big calves

Don't see what the problem is? Get yerself down to Sports Direct & buy a pair of trackie bottoms. One size fits all. Sorted. If anyone says anything to you on the course - just chin them ...

I have a couple of pairs of Under Armour golf trousers and really like them, comfortable and good weather resistance. And my fit is similar to yours.

Under armour are good 👍🏻

Another vote for under armour. Very comfy and material seems stretchy for when bending down for putting etc. Usually pick a pair up for about £30 too.

FOR the winter it’s always lined under armour - in the summer I tend to wear nike
