Another vote for Galvin Green - do various leg lengths and they fit over my big calves.

Got a couple of pairs of PING trousers and they are far and away the most comfortable I've worn. Their sizing is spot on, you buy a 36inch waist and that means you have to suck you belly in and should've bought the 38's, joking aside they do fit very very well.
